It is a joy to have you visit our website. Hopefully you will able to find all the info about our church in hopes that it will help you get to know our small family of faith. In just a short time I will finish my first year at FBC Sylvan Springs. It has been an excting time getting to know the people of our church as well as the Sylvan Springs commnuity

We are not a fancy church with a lot of frills but a family striving to do the will of our Father here in this community. Our dress for services is casual. We do not feel that anyone should not be allowed in God's house by what they wear. There are no coats and ties. Our music is lead by two very talented individuals. Randy Duke is our worship leader and his wife Angela is the pianist. The music is a mixture of timeless hymns and new praise and worship music.

I believe very strongly that we are to be bible lead and bible taught church. Does that mean we are old fashioned and traditional. Absolutely not. We offer a diverse Sunday nite program. We will study the bible for a few weeks, have a movie nite and then study the bible using old TV shows to help illustrate a point. God has blessed us with technology to do some great things for him and even in a small church we are taking advantage of those blessings.

We have one goal as a church and that is to follow the will of God. If we do that God has promised to take care of us. If you are looking for a church home, feel free to visit.
